Spanish students have a lot of problems with adjectives in English. Two important things that I usually highlight in class are:
1. Adjectives are always SINGULAR . I have two BEAUTIFUL children (not beautifuls)
2. Adjectives always go BEFORE the noun . I have a BLUE PEN (not pen blue).
Apart from these basic things, students always use the same adjectives to describe elements: small, big, beautiful, ugly... and in English there are hundreds of different adjectives you can use!!!
I am going to ask you some questions I would like you to answer using adjectives. Choose one or two, it's not necessary to answer all of them:
1. Describe the most important person for you.
2. How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?
3. Tell us about the best moment in your life and describe your feelings.
4. Who do you admire? Tell us why.
5. Tell us about the last book you read.
6. Describe the last party you went to.

EliminarWho do I admire? Well, I admire my four cats. They need very little to live a quiet and peaceful life. Early in the morning they seem pleased and amused, sometimes making amazing jumps, sometimes running and getting a bit mad. They find some cheap food delicious, like white-tunny fish or just a tiny piece of bread.
ResponderEliminarI don't live in a huge house with large rooms, but anyway they don't become tense or bothered about the lack of space. Instead, they sleep a lot, without worrying about complicated things. And when I come back home, sometimes tired, one or two of them often wait for me in the balcony, so I can see their appealing eyes and gracious ears after coming upstairs: that's something to be cheerful about.

ResponderEliminar5. The last book I read was Mockingjay (Sinsajo en español), the last book of The Hunger Games saga. I think is a strange book, the writer has a very peculiar way to write, but it was very nice, I would read it again. I think it could be better, but it's also a fantastic book. I recommend it. Now I'm looking foward the film!!!
