Last night we went to practise ORAL SKILLS with native speakers. We stayed there for about two hours talking about shopping (the topic of the day) and about many other things. We also played a game and the winners got a free beer!

1.- Amazing experience for me, I have to practice english everyday and is perfect to accompany my learning. We repeat this Thursday!
ResponderEliminarI'd to talking about the activity ,although by personal reasons i couldn't be there but i suppose that it was an interesting activity , I like to sharing ideas ,experiences and cultures with other foreign languages .I hope to participating in the next activity...
ResponderEliminarYes,i liked, but we didn´t speak about shopping. The subject was off topic. We had to bring arguments why we should be the person that will survive in case of a nuclear catastrophe.
ResponderEliminarI liked the activity because you had the oportunity to meet new english speaking people and you could practice the language.I never had gone to another similar. It was a good experience,in spite of the loud music, the talk speed and the subject (if the world finished why you would be indispensable).Maybe the next time it`ll be different.
ResponderEliminarI had to pay 8e for a sandwich(bocadillo) + clara (beer with lemon)!!!WOOW
ResponderEliminarThe activity was very interesting we could speak with the teacher and we have been a excelent experience. When we didn't understand some word we could ask and she explained us.
ResponderEliminarI like the activity because I can learn English and lose the shame.
ResponderEliminarAlthough, I have a beginner level of english, the girl who touched all of us had a lot of patience and made us talk to all and my group won the game!!!!
It was a very nice experience, I enjoyed it very much! It's really different talking to native speakers than talking to spanish people because you learn a lot of pronunctiation and intonation. It also makes you improve your own speaking and make a effort as you want to be understood.
ResponderEliminarI liked the experience! I'd like to repeat it in the next term but I don't remember any new word or expression.
ResponderEliminarI think it's good to improve English and also to introduce yourself to new people to talk with out of class.
We played a game: "Imagine you are the only survivors after a nuclear blast and for some reason one of you has to be killed. Explain to your comrades why do you think you're useful enough to live and avoid being the one killed".
ResponderEliminarPretty intresting, but we ended up talking about everything, and not about the game. I hope we could make this kind of activity more often, because is great: it helps you feeling more confident.
Expressions: Meat cow, milk cow, nuclear blast, teach some manners (some modals is incorrect). Can't remember lots of them, but I think we practised enough listening, speaking and pronunciation. And also made plenty of bad jokes...
